First off allow me to introduce myself.
My name is Marie I'm a Rider, I'm a Racer, And now I guess I'm an event promotor. I am currently LandSpeed Racing on a '04 Nitrous Hayabusa and I am the fastest Woman in Texas on a STREET LEGAL bike, 4th fastest Woman overall at the Texas Mile, On the street I ride a '07GSXR-750. This year my Husband and I took over the promotion of the SportBike Extravaganza in Iraan Texas.
As Riders it would be great to have a SBG presence at the Rally and we would love to do what we can to help SBG members come out set up, hang out, what ever our contact info is at the bottom so please call or email us with any questions concerns.

I just want to get everyone up to date on Texas largest SportBike Rally. Last year attendance was down(blame the economy) we had just under 1000 bikes show up. Yeah thats right! 1000 SportBikes in a town of 1100 people! We are hoping to see everyone make it out this year. So, here's whats going on.

FamilyPowerSports.com is bringing out their new portable Dyno for a top Horsepower shootout and Charity Dyno runs. So all you Big Gun bring those Bad Bikes lets see what you got! For the first time there will be Vendors there so buying patches, gear, helmets etc etc is an option.
FREE is still our favorite price! No charge to get in! Free camping! Free to enter the stunt show! There will be raffle tickets on sale, and Dyno runs will be on a donation basis also. All proceeds go to the Iraan Senior Citizens Center and the Widow and 2yr old son of "Busa Dave" Hardy who died of Liver Cancer recently.
For a look at the action here is a link to our Facebook page with tons of pics and Videos.

Looks like Troy from Strapless stands is coming down. Do a search on this Guy and check his product out or just clicky linky

Christian Motorcyclists Association gave us a call this morning they are going to be there helping with the Rally and passing out some paper on their new "Fast Lane" Program, Sounds pretty interesting. I think it's along the lines of the CMA's Charter but set up for SportBike Riders and Racers? Not really sure but interested in finding out!
for those who are interested I'll attach a mileage map. Brent Von Aschen will be there installing Alarms, LED's and Trickle Chargers.
The Catholic Church has asked if they could come out and sell something to help pay for their building, of course I said yes. I'm still trying to get my Nitrous squared away at the last minute. what else drove to Iraan yesterday to make arrangements there. Heading out to FamilyPowerSports.com in Odessa to pick up Raffle items in a bit. Still have to finish the new Nitrous mods to my bike for the top HP Shootout also!
I'll keep everyone in the loop!

Well good news and bad, I had to run to Dallas last week for a Funeral, good news tho is I scored some more cool Swag a few more Helmets and T-Shirts, Key ring, etc. I also went by my friend Leslie Porterfields shop < high Five Cycles in Dallas. For those of you that don't know, Leslie is the Guinness Book World record Holder for the fastest Woman in the World on a Motorcycle! And they gave me a special gift for the Raffle but it's a surprise so you'll have to come to the Rally to find out what it is!

You know in the current economy it's REALLY hard to get Dealers to donate and more and more people,Rallies, events are holding a hand out wanting something so it's hard to get anyone to donate anything but I have some ideas that might help them out,, have some one drop me an EMail or PM
Well I ordered the shirts today, I think they should go pretty well, WARRANTY KILLER
You know that guy that just can't leave things alone even tho they are still under Warranty and fooling around with ANYTHING is probably going to void the Warranty. Yeppers this shirt is for him! It also says WARRANTY KILLER in bold letters on the front. I only ordered 55 Shirts this year because $$$ is pretty tight for us right now. I'm pretty sure they will sell out almost IMMEDIATELY. So if your coming better make getting a shirt the FIRST thing you do when you show up.
